FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
  1. What is early bird?
    Early bird is a $10.00 discount per class for paying tuition before the 1st of each month. Tuition charges are posted to accounts the last week of each month for the following month.
  2. How do I drop my child from their enrolled class?
    Parents must notify Dayton Academy of Gymnastics and Dance to drop a student from class via WRITTEN NOTICE. You are responsible for payment for your student's classes whether or not your student attends class until the time you notify the office.
  3. Can I enroll my child for multiple days in the same program?
    Yes, although it is not required all of our classes are priced one class per week. We offer a 10% discount on any additional classes.
  4. My child missed their class. Can I schedule a make-up?
    Yes! If you can’t make it to class that week, call BEFORE the start of class and we can work on scheduling one. If class falls on a holiday and we are closed, those classes are not included in your tuition and there is no need to schedule a make-up.
  5. I have more than 1 child enrolled. Is there a family discount?
    Yes! Family discounts are given when more than one child is registered and participating in classes. We offer a 10% discount on any additional classes.
  6. What attire does my child need to wear to class?
    Athletic attire is acceptable providing that it is form fitting and covers appropriately. No bare midriffs (sports bras). No cargo or jean shorts, tights with feet, leotard with skirts, or spaghetti strap type shirts. Participants wearing prohibited clothing may be asked to leave class.
  7. Do you have competitive teams?
    We offer both competitive gymnastics and competitive all-star cheerleading. Both our competitive programs have evaluations/tryouts in May. Contact our office at (937) 236-2100 for more info!
  8. Do I have to stay and watch my child's class?
    If your child is under 5 or not potty trained, yes. We do We recommend parents stay and watch from time to time to see the progress that your child is making in class. If you are staying, for the safety of all the athletes, please do not tap and/or coach from the window or stand in the doorway.
